Impact
At
Ringside with Michael Cole, Mick Foley, and Don West
Michael
Cole: Welcome everyone to Impact. We
are less than two weeks away from the One Man Standing Pay Per View, which is the first ever Pay Per View for the VCWE in
the year of 2009. Tonight’s Impact is coming to you all live from the Allstate
Arena in Chicago,
Illinois. And tonight will conclude
the Royal Rumble Qualifying Matches and by the end of the night, we’ll know the 30 participants involved in the 2009
Royal Rumble Match.
Don
West: That’s right, Michael.
In tonight’s main event, the thirtieth spot in the 2009 Royal Rumble Match will be revealed. It’ll be featuring Petey Williams and his opponent will be Ron Simmons.
Mick
Foley: Also, we have a Royal Rumble Qualifying Match featuring Deuce and
his opponent being the 1988 Royal Rumble Winner, Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
Don
West: We have two Singles Matches between the two participants involved in
the VCWE World Heavyweight Championship Match at One Man Standing. One of them
is the VCWE World Heavyweight Champion, Booker T, taking on Jeff Jarrett. Sharmell
will not be at ringside because she is out of action due to a concussion and she’ll make her return at the One Man Standing
Pay Per View. The other match would be JBL, whom is the number one contender
for the VCWE World Heavyweight Championship, and he’ll be taking on Samoa Joe.
Mick
Foley: Vickie Guerrero, our General Manager, will be announcing the matches
for the final Impact before the huge Pay Per View.
Michael
Cole: But lets kick off the show with an 8 Man Tag Team Match between the
8 superstars from Impact that have qualified into the 2009 Royal Rumble Match.
8
Man Tag Team Opening Contest
To start the show for Impact, it was John
Cena, Mr. Kennedy, The Great Khali, and the heel, Big Show, taking on Vladimir Kozlov, Kevin Nash, Mark Henry, and Jack Swagger,
with Tony Atlas in their corner, in an 8 Man Tag Team Match between the eight superstars that have qualified into the 2009
Royal Rumble Match from Impact thus far. The match was a great one to kick off
the show, with a ton of back and forth action, a lot of powerful tactics, with very little highflying, aerial, and speedy
maneuvers being used. The ending came when Big Show showed his true colors and
delivered the Show Stopper and Vladimir Kozlov then covered him for the pinfall.

ODB

Vickie
Guerrero: Yes, yes I did, ODB. I
just want to let you know that your warm up match for Sharmell tonight, you’ll be taking on Angelina Love and Velvet
Sky. You already knew that, but the match will be not a regular 2 on 1 Handicap
Diva’s Match, but the match will also be a No Disqualification Match. Good
luck, ODB. You’re gonna need it.
ODB: Its okay, Vickie. I will love to kick
those blonde bimbos with weapons being used. Thanks again, Vickie. Their blood will be in your hands.
JBL’s
Match
Next, it was a Singles Match between JBL
and his opponent being Samoa Joe. This was a warm up match for JBL for when he
will be facing Booker T at One Man Standing. This match was a great match between
the athletes, with the ending happening when JBL pinned Samoa Joe after the Closeline from Hell.

Lauren
Thompson: Please welcome my guest at this time. He is the Assistant General Manager of Impact, Ranjin Singh. Mr.
Singh, why have you requested this exact time for an interview?
Ranjin
Singh: Well, Lauren. Because
I have made a match that’ll take place next. It will be the VCWE No Holds
Barred Champion, Hardcore Holly, taking on both Umaga and MVP in a Triple Threat No Holds Barred Match. This match will also be a Non Title Match. Hope you all will
enjoy it.

T is Interviewed
Lena Yada: My
guest at this time is the VCWE World Heavyweight Champion, Booker T. Booker,
up next you take on Jeff Jarrett in a Non Title Match. But my question is, how
is Sharmell after receiving the concussion last week?
Booker
T: Ms. Yada, Sharmell is recovering and getting better. She will compete at One Man Standing against that slime ball, ODB.
Sharmell will win and she will make me proud. As for tonight, I will beat
Jeff Jarrett extremely easily like the snob that he truly is.
Non
Title Singles Match
Up next, it was a Non Title Singles Match
when the VCWE World Heavyweight Champion, Booker T, is taking on Jeff Jarrett. Sharmell
was not at ringside because of her concussion. This match was an alright match
and the fans were bored during parts of the match, but the ending, however, came via disqualification for Booker T when Jeff

Jim Duggan: 2009 is gonna be a repeat from 1988. It’ll be a Red, White, and Blue victory for me, Hacksaw Jim Duggan.

trio in the history of the VCWE.

Beth
Phoenix and Santino Marella Backstage
Santino
Marella: Does ODB know your role in her match against Sharmell at One Man
Standing, Beth?
Beth
Phoenix: I don’t think so, Santino.
But at One Man Standing, ODB will be utterly humiliated and will be made a fool in front of the world at one of the
biggest Pay Per Views of the year.
Santino
Marella: Good plan, Beth. Next
is ODB’s match. Let’s see if she’ll be weakened before her
match with Sharmell in this No Disqualification Handicap Diva’s Match that you suggested Vickie Guerrero should make
the match tonight.
Beth
Phoenix: Anything for Booker. You
know, he offered me a half a million dollars if Sharmell wins.

see ODB get creamed next. I can’t wait.
