Extreme
At Ringside with Mike Adamle, Tazz, and Mike Tenay
Mike Adamle: Welcome everyone to another edition/episode of Extreme. Tonight’s Extreme is coming to you live from the Boardwalk Hall Arena in Atlantic City,
New Jersey. Tonight’s show
is gonna be a gamble, if you know what I mean.
Tazz: I know exactly what you mean, Mike. We are in Atlantic City, where you gamble
away your money, but it’ll be a gamble tonight when we have five Singles Matches with the ten superstars from Extreme
that are involved in the 2009 Royal Rumble Match. Who will gain the momentum
tonight before this Sunday’s One Man Standing Pay Per View. Because in
tonight’s main event, it’ll be Shawn Michaels taking on the VCWE Television Champion and the Champion of Champions,
Big Daddy V.
Mike Tenay: Later tonight, it’ll be Abyss taking on R-Truth.
Tazz: Don’t forget that Hurricane Helms has his hands full
when he takes on the undefeated Snitsky.
Mike Tenay: Matt Hardy battles it out with one half of the VCWE World
Tag Team Champions, Zack Ryder.
Tazz: The VCWE Champion, Batista, will take on Kurt Angle in a Non
Title Special Guest Referee Match and the referee of the match will be AJ Styles. Will
AJ call it right down the middle? Or will he do what Kurt did last week and screw
him out of the match?
Mike Tenay: The VCWE Lady’s Championship will be decided when
Mickie James defends her title against the number one contender, Rhaka Khan.
Tazz: We just got word that the Chairman of the VCWE, Mr. McMahon,
is now in the building and he will make an announcement. Also, the General Manager
of Extreme, William Regal, will make an announcement for the matches to take place next Monday night for Extreme, which is
just 24 hours after the One Man Standing Pay Per View.
Mike Adamle: But lets kick off the show tonight with Kane and Matt
Morgan.
Opening Contest
In the opening contest for
Extreme, it was a Singles Match between two of the ten superstars representing Extreme in the 2009 Royal Rumble Match. It was Kane taking on Matt Morgan. This
match saw all powerful maneuvers and tactics being used, with very little highflying, aerial, and speedy moves being utilized. This match was a great bout between two superheavyweights, with the ending coming
when Kane pinned Matt Morgan after the Chokeslam.

Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins Backstage with Edge
Zack Ryder: Edge, you are in action next. Are you prepared to finally get your hands on DJ Gabriel, even though it is a 6 Man Tag Team Match?
Edge: Hell yeah I am, Zack.
Tonight, I’ll throttle DJ and I’ll make sure that he never takes a woman from me or any other man again. But I do want him in Singles action, but that’ll take place sometime in the
very near future, count on that one, guys.
Curt Hawkins: You know, Edge.
DJ will be having a former World Champion as a partner and a former United States Champion as a partner too. They also have your ex girlfriend and a troll in their corner. You
better watch your back tonight, Edge. It’ll be a bit tough to overcome. I know you are a multiple time World Champion, but it’ll be tough to take on
three guys, even when your partners say they have your back. Remember this saying,
Edge. Don’t trust anybody.
Edge: I know, Curt, I know.
But don’t worry. I’ll massacre them like they have never been
massacred before.
Curt Hawkins: Good luck, Edge.
Edge: Thanks, Curt.
Zack Ryder: Good luck.
Edge: Thanks, Zack. Watch
me demolish these abnormal jackasses.
6 Man Tag Team Match
In this next bout, it was
Edge, Scott Steiner, and Tomko teaming up to take on CM Punk, Finlay, and DJ Gabriel, with both Hornswoggle and Alicia Fox
in their corner. This match was superb, but the ending came when CM Punk pinned
Tomko after the Go to Sleep.

Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins are Interviewed
Jeremy Borash: Please welcome my guests at this time; they are the
VCWE World Tag Team Champions, Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins. Zack, up next is
your match and you’ll be taking on Matt Hardy. You both are participants
in the 2009 Royal Rumble Match, but if either of you win this match, you two are guaranteed some momentum this Sunday. Your thoughts?
Curt Hawkins: He’s gonna do what he does best and that is win.
Jeremy Borash: Excuse me, Curt.
I was talking to Zack.
Curt Hawkins: Sorry, JB, my bad.
Zack Ryder: Like he just said, I will demolish anyone that stands
in my path. I can do anything I want, when I want, where I want. And tonight, Matt is going taste the feeling of a loss in the record books because I will win defeat him
tonight and I’ll toss 29 other superstars over the top rope in the 2009 Royal Rumble Match.
Singles Match
Up next, it was one half
of the VCWE World Tag Team Champions, Zack Ryder, with the other half of the VCWE World Tag Team Champions, Curt Hawkins,
in his corner, taking on Matt Hardy. These two superstars are representing Extreme
in the 2009 Royal Rumble Match come this Sunday night, and one of these two superstars will gain momentum heading into this
match with a victory. The superstar gaining the momentum is Zack Ryder when Zack
was distracting the referee and Curt Hawkins intervened and he hit Matt Hardy with the title belt and then Zack covered Matt
to steal the victory.

R-Truth is Interviewed
Jeremy Borash: My guest at this time is R-Truth. Ron, what are your thoughts heading into a match as the underdog in what can earn you momentum for this
Sunday’s Royal Rumble Match?
R-Truth: Well, JB. Plain
and simple, I may be the underdog in power, but I am never the underdog in speed. Abyss
doesn’t have too much speed, so tonight I’ll be using my speed and agility to my advantage.
Monster vs. Rapper
In this next contest, it
was Abyss taking on R-Truth and the winner will gain some momentum for the 2009 Royal Rumble Match to take place this Sunday
night at the One Man Standing Pay Per View. This match saw the speedy, agility,
aerial, and highflying background of R-Truth, and the power game on the part of Abyss.
The ending came to no surprise to the fans, as Abyss pinned R-Truth after the Black Hole Slam to get the victory.

Jim Cornette catches up to AJ Styles
Jim Cornette: AJ, wait up for a minute. I have to let you know something. I know you are the referee
for this upcoming match, but you have to be an impartial referee. If you make
Kurt Angle lose this match with your being or with an unfair advantage, I’ll suspend you indefinitely without pay. You got me?
AJ Styles: What? What? Kurt screwed me out of my match last week, and you dare have the gall to tell me that
if I do the same and return the favor, you’ll end up stripping me of my job by suspending me without pay indefinitely. That is so unfair, Jim. But I won’t
cost Kurt the match, but if he loses without my help, then you better be damn sure that I still have an active job with a
current pay coming to me every two weeks.
Jim Cornette: You have my word, AJ.
Kurt can lose, as long as you haven’t done anything to cause his loss.
AJ Styles: I won’t, Jim.
But I do need revenge against Kurt from last week. So, this Sunday night
in our Submission Match, I’ll reinjure Kurt’s surgically repaired broken neck.
Jim Cornette: Also, you can only attack Kurt Angle if he physically
provokes you. Deal?
AJ Styles: Now you are talking my language, Mr. Cornette.
2nd Special Guest Referee Match
Next, it was the second of
two within the past two weeks of the Special Guest Referee Matches, and it was this time having AJ Styles being the referee,
but if AJ causes his rival to lose tonight with his own knowledge and being, then he’ll be suspended without pay indefinitely. It was Non Title as well when Kurt Angle was taking on the VCWE Champion, Batista. This match was a pretty stolid match with a huge amount of momentum for each superstar
heading into their respective matches in less than a week away, approximately a few days.
It ended when Kurt Angle accidentally gave AJ Styles a Closeline when Batista ducked, which caused the physical provocation
by Kurt, and then AJ got a steel chair and hit Kurt Angle and Batista then covered him to steal the win.

Demolition Between 2 Royal Rumble Participants
In this next match, it was
a Singles Match between Hurricane Helms and his opponent was the undefeated Snitsky and these two superstars are participants
in the 2009 Royal Rumble Match. This match was less than a minute long and Snitsky
pinned Hurricane Helms after a Big Boot.

William Regal Interviewed
Eve Torres: My guest at this time is the General Manager of Extreme,
William Regal. Mr. Regal, what matches will take place on next week’s Extreme,
which will be 24 hours after the One Man Standing Pay Per View?
William Regal: Well, Eve. Next
week’s show will have everyone knowing who the 2009 Royal Rumble Winner is, and he just may be an Extreme superstar. So, I have made next week’s main event a 10 Man Tag Team Match and every superstar
involved will be a participant of the 2009 Royal Rumble Match from the Extreme brand.
It’ll be Big Daddy V, Snitsky, Kane, Zack Ryder, and Abyss taking on Shawn Michaels, Matt Hardy, Matt Morgan,
R-Truth, and Hurricane Helms. Also for next week’s show, it’ll be
a Diva’s Tag Team Match between Maryse and Layla taking on Mercedes Steele and Taylor Wilde. Next week, it’ll be a Non Title Triple Threat Match between the VCWE Champion, Batista, Edge, and
CM Punk. Also next week, it’ll be a 2 on 1 Handicap Match between Kurt
Angle taking on AJ Styles and Finlay. In two week’s, it’ll be AJ
Styles on his own in a 2 on 1 Handicap Match against Kurt Angle and a superstar I haven’t chosen yet. And two more matches that are confirmed for next week, are the first being Scott Steiner taking on Scotty
Goldman, with Ryan Braddock in his corner. And the last one is a 2 on 3 Handicap
Match when The Latin American Exchange and Kung Fu Naki take on Tomko and Paul Burchill, with Katie Lea Burchill in their
corner. Hope everyone enjoys next week’s show and will enjoy the rest of
tonight’s show as well.
VCWE Lady’s Championship Match
The VCWE Lady’s Championship
will be defended next when Mickie James defends her title against Rhaka Khan. This
match was most dominated by Rhaka Khan, but Mickie James someway, somehow overcame the odds and she defeated Rhaka Khan. However, it was via disqualification after Rhaka Khan refused the release the choke
hold after the five count.

Eve Torres Interviews Big Daddy V
Eve Torres: Big Daddy V, up next is the main event of the night and
you’ll be taking on Shawn Michaels. Thoughts?
Big Daddy V: I am undefeated thus far and am the VCWE Television
Champion and the Champion of Champions. I am a mastodon and nobody can stop me. And tonight, I’ll win the main event and then this Sunday night, I’ll
win the 2009 Royal Rumble Match and added the 2009 Royal Rumble Winner to my résumé, along with VCWE Television Champion,
WWE Hardcore Champion, and 1995 King of the Ring Winner.
Eve Torres: Good luck, Big Daddy V.
Main Event Singles Match
It is now time for the main
event of the night and it was the VCWE Television Champion and the Champion of Champions, Big Daddy V taking on Shawn Michaels
and the title is not on the line in this match. This match was an excellent one
and the best match of the night, by far. The ending came when Big Daddy V pinned
Shawn Michaels after The Ghetto Drop. After the match, Mr. McMahon made his way
to the ring, as Big Daddy V, followed by Shawn Michaels made their way to the back and then we have an announcement from Mr.
McMahon.
Mr. McMahon: Everyone knows how bad the economy is getting and even
the boss of a multimillion dollar corporation cannot escape from the disasters of bankruptcy.
But, I would like to call out a few guys from all three brands that I have personally called to be here tonight. I would like the following superstars to come to the ring at the same time after I
finish on announcing the superstars I have called to the ring. Would Gavin Spears,
Val Venis, Bam Neely, and D’Lo Brown please come to the ring right now?
They make their way to the ring
Mr. McMahon: I hate to be the bearer of bad news, and doing it in
the public for the entire world to see is very embarrassing and hard to do, but I am sorry to say that I have to release you
four superstars from the VCWE due to a budget cut with the way the economy is right now.
I’m sorry guys and I, along with the McMahon family and the rest of the VCWE and even the fans wish you four
superstars the best of luck in your future endeavors.
Extreme goes off of the air, with the four superstars walking to the back with their heads down
